Hello! My name is Jill Beebee Barclay.  I am based in NY and grew up there in Long Island.  I have two Art degrees - Jewelry Design from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in Manhattan, and Art Education from SUNY New Paltz.  I have always been creating throughout my life, it has been a ongoing passion for myself. To create is something so beautiful and so special and dear to me.  A lot of my work is in the Firefly Artist Gallery located in Northport, NY. 

I have two children and while they were growing up we painted and sculpted often.  Both of their adult lives are still involved in art. I come from a family of talented artists and creators. Family is very important to me and is deeply rooted in what I create, as a lot of my work has to do with relation to family and pieces for the home. 

My mediums are everchanging. I constantly am trying new things and adding to what I do. I started Jjewelscrafts with jewelry design and I have expanded much from there. I do crochet and weaving, different types of jewelry, have worked in ceramics, and I do a lot of ornament type crafts, and glasswork. I love photography as well and take pictures of flowers and even paint them as well! 

To the left is me and my daughters! I am a single mother and I have taught my girls how to fill their worlds and lives with art, as all of us are artists of our own accord. Family is extremely important to me and the process behind my work. I love my family.
